A new Muh-tige farm story about big plans and little steps.
Kalle put his blue cap on backwards and looked at the basket of apples. “I’ll carry that all by myself,” he said. Lotti smiled. Her gold tooth sparkled, and her name shone on her bell. “Then let’s first see how heavy it is.”
Kalle pulled. The basket wobbled. An apple rolled across the yard and stopped beside Max. The sleepy Labrador blinked, looked at the apple and moved a little to one side. This visitor really was not his responsibility today.
“Maybe the basket needs two trips,” Kalle thought. Together they divided up the apples. Now the first half was easy to carry. Kalle walked slowly and held on with both hooves. Not a single apple went on another outing.
When the last basket was in the farm shop, Kalle leaned contentedly against Lotti. “Two small loads are sometimes better than one enormous one.” Lotti nodded. “And together, we can usually find a good way.”
